King of the Hill - Disney, OK (pre-reg)

Race plan:

The event will take place at 3 Fingers in Disney, OK

The start / finish line will be located at the bottom of 3 Fingers

First round will be an up and back timed run, choose your own line.  You will have two opportunities, and your best time will be recorded.

Second round will also be up and back, but will have required points to hit on the way up.  You will have two opportunities on this as well, with your best time being recorded.

Depending on turnout, we may have a third run of similar design.  We will talk with the drivers at the drivers meeting prior to the event, to see if they want a third run.

RACE RULES

1 - Turbo UTV / Unlimited

1.1 - Roll cage tied into the frame.  If roll cage is damaged or dented and jeopardizes the structural ability of the cage, officials will determine if the machine is safe to race

1.2 - Gusseting and cage upgrades are allowed for safety

1.3 - Must retain and utilize production-style UTV engine, transmission, and differential

1.4 - 4pt. Harness is the minimum requirement for seat belts

1.5 - Only one occupant (the driver) allowed inside the vehicle

1.6 - Driver must be secure before the machine move

2 - Average Joe UTV

2.1 - Must maintain Full OEM chassis

2.2 - Gusseting and cage upgrades are allowed for safety

2.3 - Upgraded suspension and driveline components are allowed, but must retain production-style components 

2.4 - 4pt. Harness is the minimum requirement for seat belts

2.5 - Only one occupant (the driver) allowed inside the vehicle

2.6 - Drive must be secure before the car moves

Payout for each class:

1st - $350

2nd - $150

3rd - $75

Points System:

Drivers will have two opportunities to run each course, and the best time will be taken and converted to points based on the chart below.  

Hill climb times will be converted to points using the following:

1st ---- 50 points
2nd ---- 47 points
3rd ---- 44 points
4th ---- 41 points
5th ---- 38 points
6th ---- 35 points
7th ---- 32 points
8th ---- 29 points
9th ---- 26 points
10th ---- 23 points
11th -and below 20 points

-In the event of a breakdown, you will be allowed 10 minutes to repair your machine.  Other drivers and event staff are allowed to help with repairs if help is needed.
